Bethany

People have begun searching on WRITERsite for information about "Bethany", the musical. It's not a bad guess to look here, because the songs and most of the script were written by WRITERsite editor, Derrick Phillips. However, Bethany has its own website at www.bethanyproductions.co.uk which currently is linking together the Team who are working on the production.

As a point of general information, the first showing of this new production will be at St Michaels Church, Stoke Gifford, Bristol from 26th to 29th October 2006. As the 'bethanyproductions' website says...

Bethany the musical, is set in the home where Mary, Martha and Lazarus lived. We are invited to join them in a celebration remembering those amazing times they experienced together. They share their story with us through narrative, sketches and song and they even welcome us all to eat with them. It's a fun evening, but with some deeply reflective moments. Most of all, it is a time of fellowship and re-evaluation.
'Bethany' includes 12 original songs and an unusual presentation concept. Come to be surprised; come to be challenged; come to enjoy a good evening.
