"Just leave the package
in the doorway..."
Sleeping rough
Just leave the package in the doorway and go to the taxi rank,
don't worry about the queue the driver would pick him out. They
dropped him near his station and within the half hour he was home.
At three in the morning his wife was shouting that the police were
on the phone and sending a car round.
They stood in front of the curtain, his wife clutching his arm,
her tears streaming down; when they made the identification they
both clutched each other.
The help and support people helped and supported. Get the grief
out in the open. It was the most important thing. Holding back and
bottling up their feelings would only result in breakdown and illness,
their loved one would not want them to suffer, live out your lives,
time and sleep would be the greatest healer, especially time.
He looked up at the darkness; she had finally cried herself to sleep.
When he joined they had told him to wait until the call came, don't
do anything to attract attention, try to live a normal life, get
married, have kids, he was a sleeper it was as simple as that
